- Information on this website is general, compiled from publicly available and open sources, and may not suit your field or situation.
- Do your own thorough research before buying or investing in any product, dealership or business arrangement. Don’t buy anything just because we said so.
- Always read and follow the product label. Results are not guaranteed.
1. General information only
All content on the websites balajiagrochem.com and bacf.org.in (the “Website”) of Balaji Agro Chemicals & Fertilizers (“BACF®”, “we”, “us”) — including product information, farming guides, articles, FAQs, crop calendars, diagrams, illustrations, Product Finder suggestions, stage-wise notes, dealer listings and any statement made by us or on our behalf — is provided for general informational purposes only.
It is not agronomic, scientific, technical, legal, financial, investment or other professional advice, and it does not create any professional or advisory relationship between you and us.
2. Sources of information
Much of the general agricultural information on the Website — such as fertilizer recommendations, crop timings, deficiency symptoms and safety practices — has been compiled from publicly available and open sources, including government publications, agricultural research institutions, agricultural universities and other public material, as well as our own product data.
We compile this information in good faith, but we do not independently verify all of it and we make no representation or warranty, express or implied, about its accuracy, completeness, reliability, suitability or timeliness. Recommendations from public sources are general in nature, may change, and may not reflect the latest research or the conditions in your area. Sources are cited where practicable; citation does not imply endorsement by, or affiliation with, the source.
3. Do your own research before you buy or invest
Before purchasing any product, or investing time, money or resources in any product, dealership, distributorship, supply arrangement or other business opportunity connected with us, you should carry out your own rigorous and independent research and due diligence. This includes reading the product label and literature, checking the product’s suitability for your crop, soil and conditions, verifying registrations and licences, comparing alternatives, and taking independent advice from qualified professionals such as an agronomist, your Krishi Vigyan Kendra, your accountant or your legal adviser.
Do not purchase any product, or make any investment or business decision, solely because of any statement, recommendation, guide, testimonial or opinion on the Website or made by us or our representatives. Any decision you make is your own, made at your own risk and on the basis of your own judgement.
4. Results are not guaranteed
Agricultural results depend on many factors outside our control, including soil type and health, weather and climate, water availability, crop variety, seed quality, pest and disease pressure, timing, dose and method of application, tank-mix partners, storage and handling, and other farm practices.
Any statements about benefits, performance, yield or quality — including figures such as percentage increases — describe what may be possible under suitable conditions. They are not a promise or guarantee of any particular result. We do not guarantee any yield, income, profit or return.
5. Always follow the label
The label and leaflet supplied with each product are the authoritative instructions for its use. Read them carefully and follow the stated dose, timing, crop, precautions, waiting periods, storage and first-aid instructions. Use products only as permitted by law and the label. In case of any difference between the Website and the label, the label prevails.
Agrochemicals and fertilizers can be harmful if misused. Use appropriate protective equipment, keep products away from children, food and animals, and dispose of containers safely.
6. Testimonials and reviews
Testimonials and reviews on the Website reflect the individual experiences and opinions of the people who gave them. They are not necessarily representative of what other users will achieve, and they are not a guarantee or prediction of results.
7. Not investment advice; forward-looking statements
Nothing on the Website is an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any securities or interest in our business, or an invitation to invest. Nothing on the Website should be relied on as investment advice.
Statements about our plans, future products, technology, expansion, capacity or other future matters are forward-looking. They reflect current intentions and are subject to risks and uncertainties; actual outcomes may differ materially. We have no obligation to update them. Features marked as planned, upcoming, illustrative or concept may never be delivered.
8. Images, illustrations and figures
Photographs, drawings, diagrams and leaf-symptom illustrations are representative and for general understanding only. Real crop symptoms vary with crop, variety, stage and severity and can resemble diseases, pest damage or other problems. Do not diagnose or treat a crop on the basis of an illustration alone; confirm with a soil or plant test or a qualified expert. Product packaging may differ from images shown.
9. Dealers and third parties
Dealers, distributors and other third parties mentioned or listed on the Website are independent. We do not endorse, and are not responsible for, their advice, products, prices, services or conduct. Links to third-party websites and services are provided for convenience only.
10. Errors and changes
The Website may contain errors, omissions or outdated information, including in prices, product details and dealer details. We may correct, change or remove any content at any time without notice, but we are under no obligation to update it.
11. Translations
Content may be offered in Hindi and other languages for convenience. Translations may not be exact; in case of any inconsistency, the English version prevails.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we, our proprietor, employees and agents shall not be liable for any loss or damage of any kind — including loss of crop, yield, produce, income, profit or investment — arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Website, its content or any statement made by us. This Disclaimer forms part of, and should be read with, our Terms of Use.
